They had to come to Daqu campus, Ketapang, Cipondoh, Tangerang, Banten province, and had to stay for one night to get immersed with the Islamic values applied in the daily life of Daqu staffs.

It is imperative for all muslims to live the life in the Islamic ways as exemplified by Prophet Muhammad PBUH, said ustaz KH. Ahmad Jamil, SE, MA, in his welcoming speech to welcome the participants.

It is also highly recommended that Islamic core values, such as kindness among mankind, humility, observing the five time daily prayers, reciting the Holy Quran, paying Zakat, charity, alms and donation to the needy, are all the activities needed to be applied in the daily life to please Allah as we are all His servants, according to Ustadz Slamet.

The importance in applying Islamic values has helped educators in Islamic institution to enable their students develop creative thinking skills which are useful for them in their studies.

Teacher nowadays serves as counselor, friend, facilitator, partner, educator, and trainer for his students.

As it is mentioned in the Holy Quran: “O people of Islam, you are the best people ever raised for the good of mankind. You enjoin what is right (ma’roof), forbid what is wrong (munkar), and believe in Allah.” (3:110).

In the course of the training participants were given the opportunity to ask questions related to the problems faced by them in the classroom. Participants enthusiastically asked questions to Mr. Bahroin to gain solution from their problems found in the day today routine at school.

It is also imperative that as Muslims we follow the life path as shown by our Prophet Muhammmad PBUH, since he is the best role model for mankind as stated in the Holy Quran surah Al-Ahzab:120: “Indeed in the Messenger of Allah (Muhammad SAW) you have a good example to follow for him who hopes in (the Meeting with) Allah and the Last Day and remembers Allah much”.

According to Dra.Psi.Inna Mutmainnah, an experienced Daqu psychologist, as educators we need to regard parents as partners in developing students’ positive characters and personalities which are beneficial for their future.*****
